Incase I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night.

My Review on THE TRUMAN SHOW, starring Jim Carrey.

In The Truman Show, you will find an exciting blend of unending excitement, hope, humour sadness, and sympathy for Truman Burbank.
The acting was excellent, and nothing was too predictable. It was a GOOD movie, and kept you entertained. Jim Carrey's performance was nothing short of stellar and the plot was original. I think this movie isn't really as popularized as his other works because he is often associated with comedy. Thanks to The Truman Show, a broadened audience emerged and praised Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for Jim Carrey. Most people underestimate his acting, but this movie proves how versatile he can be AND still bring his own style to the table. Sometimes I do often wonder if my deceased relatives are watching me and what they are thinking.
I could tell they, like Tropic Thunder were trying to show people how media has been going to extremes, and it does that well. How often do we toy with emotions just to get attention? The list would go on about the symbols/themes of this film. Attatch them yourselves, and go see this movie as soon as possible! :)

finished movies: american history x (8.5/10- excellent acting, edward norton is sexual as always), memento(8/10- beautifully crafted, old school (7/10- hilarious!!)
